The inception of RS dates back to 2010 when Resilient Solutions was founded to provide crisis and emergency management to states and other government agencies. The turn of the tide came in 2014 when we embraced the education sector, gradually morphing our focus to cater exclusively to the safety needs of small and rural schools. The rebranding to RS School Safety in August of 2022 wasn’t just a change in name; it epitomized our unwavering commitment and tailored approach towards safeguarding the sanctuaries of education.
We have introduced the RS Three-Year Cycle, a strategic program designed to assist our clients in systematically addressing their safety and security concerns. This initiative breaks down safety and security requirements into a manageable three-year program and plan maintenance cycle, ensuring a structured and phased approach to bolstering school safety. RS School Safety founder Jeb Lacey is an emergency management consultant with 20 years of experience in emergency management and crisis response. Over his career, Jeb has led the development of numerous trend-setting emergency management plans and programs across the US. He has developed disaster logistics frameworks for geographically separated states, led the creation of nationally recognized programs for integrating the private sector into disaster response and recovery, has created comprehensive standards for organizing and managing school emergency management programs.
